High Priest’s Garment

The High Priest’s Breastplate
Precious In Our Savior’s Eyes

Colossians 2:17 declares that everything in the Old Testament is a picture and shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.

Last week, we have learned that the key to being transformed is to behold Jesus in the Word. From Genesis to Revelation, we seek to have Jesus revealed in the pages of the Bible! Which is why today, as Pastor Tim leads us to study about the High Priest’s garment found in the Old Testament, as instructed by the Lord through Moses, we will find out that every little detail is very important. How so? Because all of them point to our beautiful Savior!

As you join us in this assembly of believers to hear His Word, may you be blessed and may your heart overflow with joy as we discover the beautiful mysteries hidden in the High Priest’s garment, particularly the breastplate! And one of those secrets is that you are so very precious in His sight!

The High Priest’s Shoulder Straps
Rest In His Power

Last week, we have learned that Aaron represents Jesus, and the breastplate of judgment that the high priest wears which contains the precious stones points to Jesus as our High Priest, wearing us, believers, over His heart. So that every time the Father looks at Jesus, He sees all of us believers as rare, valuable, and precious! When this becomes a revelation to us, that we are loved, that we are His, and precious in His sight, rough waters, fire, or any form of trouble, can never harm us! What a message!

This week, Pastor Tim continues on this series and teaches about the importance of the shoulder straps which is connected to the breastplate. And since nothing is a coincidence with the Lord, every detail about this piece of the priestly garment is important and has a deeper meaning! In this sermon, come join us in discovering what the shoulder straps represent! What does it mean that it’s connected to the breastplate? Why did God intend it to be placed over the shoulders?

May your hearts overflow with joy in learning its powerful significance in our lives today! See you!

The High Priest’s Turban (part 1)
Come Boldly

Last week, we have learned about how the shoulder straps in a high priest’s garment represent Jesus’ power and how it is connected to the breastplate, which symbolizes His love. If any of us need His power to save us from any trouble, we only need to be reminded of how much He loves us, and how He always carries us on His shoulders! Hallelujah! What a rest-filled life!

Today, Pastor Tim talks about another piece of a high priest’s garment which is the turban. For two weeks, we have learned that every piece of a priest’s garment represents something wonderful about Jesus because He is our High Priest today. In this sermon, our pastor answers these questions: What is the purpose of the turban? What does it mean that it is made of pure gold? Why does it have an inscription ‘Holiness to the Lord?’ Why did the priest of the Old Testament need to wear it always?

Come join us in discovering how the turban relates to our beautiful Savior! See you, online!

The High Priest’s Turban (part 2)
Law & Grace

Last week we studied about the turban of the high priest. It was always worn on the forehead and has an inscription that says “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” so that whenever the Lord looks at the people, He would not see Israel’s imperfections. How blessed are we today that we also have a High Priest who is none other than Jesus! And it is through Him that we can come boldly to the throne of the undeserving because He covers us with His perfection!

There are more truths hidden in this piece of the priestly garment. Join us today as Pastor Tim further expounds on the what does it mean to be accepted before the Lord! Be blessed as we learn about the difference between Law and Grace. See you, beloved church!

The High Priest’s Ephod and Sash
My Savior Who Loves To Serve Me

For weeks, we have been studying the different pieces of a High Priest’s garment: the breastplate, shoulder straps, and the turban, and learned about how each piece showcases the Lord’s love for us: how He embraces us, accepts us, and covers us. This is our Father’s love!

This week, Pastor Tim shares about the ephod and the sash and how both pieces represent a God who always want to serve us! Hallelujah! This beautiful conclusion can be seen on the intricate details on both pieces of the garment and how it is artistically worked with different colors! For every color assigned to the ephod and the sash has a wonderful meaning attached to it!
