STAY
“Kapit ka lang kay Lord” We often hear this phrase especially when problems come our way. But what does it really mean for us na “kumapit kay Lord?”
Through the story of Ruth, come and join us as Pastor Tim sheds light about this wonderful phrase.
We will study about Ruth’s background, how she was actually disqualified and yet, because she chose to cling to Naomi her mother-in-law, and chose Naomi’s God to be her God, the Lord made everything fall into place for her!

The Secret of Ruth | Part 2
JUDGE HIM FAITHFUL
In Part 1, we studied about the secret of choosing to stay, to stay in the Lord’s love, His grace, and in His presence most especially when famine or problem comes our way, believing that our God is able to provide, able to save, able to protect us from all harm!
This is something that Naomi and Elimelech didn’t do! Naomi even judged the Lord poorly and thought the hand of the Lord was against her, not believing in
His goodness and salvation because of all the death, misery, and losses she experienced in Moab. In this sermon, as we continue to read the first chapter of Ruth, we will learn about the secret of judging the Lord faithful!
Pastor Tim compares and contrasts Naomi’s decision with Sarah, the wife of Abraham, how the latter believed that the Lord was able to fulfill His promise despite her barrenness! It is our hope that after we hear the Word, we will all be fully convinced that whatever the Lord has promised, He is also able to perform!

The Secret of Ruth | Part 4
GET TO KNOW JESUS, YOUR HEAVENLY BOAZ
Did you know that there are ‘words of grace’ hidden in the book of Ruth?
And those words were spoken by none other than Boaz!
And as Pastor Tim further expounds those words of grace from Boaz, be inspired as we learn that Jesus, while He was here on earth also spoke them all, revealing that Boaz, Ruth’s kinsman-redeemer, is in fact a spiritual representation of Jesus!
In this fourth instalment in the Secret of Ruth series, it is our prayer that as we get to know who Boaz is, and who he represents, we will revel all the more in how much our Savior loves and cares for us.
The Secret of Ruth | Part 5
MAKE JESUS THE CENTER
From the past series, we have been studying Ruth chapters 1 and 2 and learned the importance of staying in the field of grace, judging the Lord faithful, asking for unmerited favor, and getting to know Jesus our heavenly Boaz.
These things helped Ruth experience favor in the sight of Boaz and caused her to reap blessings that she later shared with her mother-in-law, blessings that will last for a period of time.
However, don’t you know that there’s a better and higher rest that awaits us, believers? A limitless and greater blessing?
In this second to the last instalment of The Secret Of Ruth series, Pastor Tim exhorts on the importance of making Jesus the center of our life, even using the life of King David as an example, the man we all know who was after God’s own heart. The Secret of Ruth | Part 6
LIE DOWN UNTIL MORNING
From the past series, we have learned the secret of going after the Blesser and not the blessing, going after the owner of the grains and not the grain itself!
This is a better, higher, and greater rest that God has prepared for His beloved! What a generous Father we have!
In this last instalment of The Secret Of Ruth series, Pastor Tim concludes this series of sermons by sharing with us a very unorthodox way of handling problems, any difficulty, or challenge that comes our way: to lie down until morning.
But why are we able to lie down until morning, and even sit still, when there’s a problem at hand? Isn’t that the very opposite of what the world is teaching us?
